We always try to find ways to create something fun from things that we already have around the house and this popsicle stick parrot craft is no exception. My 2 year old goes to nursery 2 mornings per week and the days he is home we ussualy do an organised activity such as a craft or just numbers, playdough which he really enjoys.

For this craft he had so much fun glueing and cutting and was very proud to show it to daddy when he came home.

Directions:

To start off we drew the body of the parrot and the beak. Because my little one is still learning to use the scissors I went ahead and cut out the shapes. After this is just glueing everything together and you are all done.
