We came back from our holiday today, and I must say we had so much fun! It was a lovely time to spend with family, go for long walks and eat out, and yes we did eat a lot of junk, ups! My boy got into pizza (eating too much junk? no way ) and now he calls pizza everything. I created for him this lovely pizza made from felt and he’s been playing with it so much. Whatever keeps him quite!
The felt pizza is a good project to do in one afternoon, and it didn’t take a long time to put together at all!
The toppings for this pizza are olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham, cheese, tomato sauce, pineapple and pepper.
For this project, you will need:
Felt in: Black, light pink, light grey, red, white, dark red, yellow, dark green
Embroidery floss in matching colours or you can use some contrasting if you prefer more that look. I used this embroidery floss.
Poly-fill, scissors, embroidery needle.
Start by downloading the template at the end of the post and cut everything along the solid black line. The dashed line is there for guidance only.
I used a blanket stick for the ham, pepperoni and peppers as well for the pizza crust. The other toppings I left them as one single piece of felt. So let’s get to work, follow my step by step tutorial below and if you have any questions let me know.
