I got really into felt crafts lately as I discovered that you can do so many wonderful things to keep your child occupied. We are preparing for a road trip and is going to be about 4 hours long and I really wanted something to keep my toddler busy. My first idea was a quite book. I’ve seen some wonderful hand made things like this online to purchase but were definitely out of my budget so I decided to make my own. This is just a page that you can create and add to your quite book or it’s a good start up . There any a couple of options you can do with this matching game. I made the shapes different colour as my child is two and would match the colors and the shapes very quickly but like this, he needs to get over the matching colours only and do the shapes. If your child is younger probably make all the shapes from the ribbon and the shape that needs to be matched the same color so it’s not that difficult.

So start with downloading your pattern then follow the steps.
This diy is super easy, you can do it on your sewing machine but I love doing these sort of things by hand while I sit on the floor next to my son while he plays with his train, like that I get that interaction with him while doing something that I enjoy as well.
Let me know if you enjoy these sort of crafts and send me a picture with your quite book page. Would love to see them!

What a cute idea. I love how that it is not super difficult to make but is so cute and colorful.
WIll pin to my DIY, so when my very first grandchild is born in October I can make her one once she is able to sit up to play.
Yes, it really keeps them quite for some time.
