Hi lovelies! Today I am here with a tutorial of how to create a beautiful email signature in your mac email so that when you send those all-important emails they can look pretty and at the same time, professional. An email signature can save you time when replying by ensuring that you’ve included all the information about you that you need.

So, let’s have a look what makes a good email signature:

  • Essential information (better stay away from excess details about yourself);
  • The colours of your logo / website theme;
  • Don’t have too many fonts and sizes;
  • Keep the graphics simple, and
  • Definitely, include your social media icons or hyperlinks.

Now, let’s start setting it up.

You’ll want to go into your Mac email and open a new email.

We will be creating everything here and then we will just copy and paste the signature into the signature box when everything is ready.

This is an example of my email signature. In time, when my needs will change and I will need to add more information like my full name, maybe an address, mobile, and office phone number I can easily add it, but for now, this is all I need as a blogger and graphic designer.


For my email I started with “Kind Regards” as I always end my emails like that anyway and it can save me time by not having to type it again. I kept it in the same colour and font as the body of the message to give it continuity, but you don’t have to if you like to end your emails differently every time.Screen Shot 2016-07-16 at 13.26.45


I added my signature that I use at the end of each of my posts. This signature was created in Adobe Illustrator. I have included a couple of free examples in EPS and some clipart in png so that you can download them below in the form at the end of the post and create your unique signature.

Fonts used in your download for the EPS files are (free) : font1, font2, font3.


You can add some details about what you do so people understand straight away, without having to visit your website. It can be followed by a link to your website.

To create the clickable hyperlink you will need to highlight the desired words, right click Link > Add Link in your email window, and add your full website.
